Celebrating Georgette Heyer
Posted by

Laurel Ann, mistress of AustenProse, is hosting a month long celebration of the life and works of Georgette Heyer, godmother of the Regency Romance and author of dozens of historical novels as well as detective stories and mysteries.
I signed up to review my favorite Heyer novel, The Reluctant Widow, and the review will be posted on AustenProse on August 13--Friday the 13th, that is! I am enjoying my third reading of this funny, romantic novel so much and can't wait to tell you all about it.
Make sure you stop by AustenProse regularly for book reviews, interviews with Heyer enthusiasts, guest blogs with same, and some rumored-to-be fabulous giveaways.

I can't wait to read all your reviews! I've got some Heyer's on my list, too. I think her novels are perfect summer reads. First in my Heyer's TBR list, The Convenient Marriage. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of Heyer's works and am collecting more. I love her books.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the shout out Jane. I am looking forward to reading your review. Thanks again for participating.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Laurel Ann
One of these days I'm going to get around to reading some Heyer. But not any day soon, sadly. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading (or probably rereading) Venetia not too long ago. I hope to get around to more soon. I forgot how much I used to enjoy them. Very witty, excellent historical romances.
