Brontës of Haworth (1973) - episode 4

There's not much to say--this was an incredibly sad episode. Emily's death, almost a suicide because of her refusal to allow a doctor to see her except shortly before she took to her deathbed, was wrenching, but Anne's was heartbreaking. Of all the sisters, I must say that I like her best as she was portrayed in the mini-series. Her enthusiasm over their authorship was more realistic, or perhaps understandable is the better word, than either Emily's scorn or Charlotte's desperation.
