Schoenbaum's "Shakespeare's Lives" a number of years ago, and that helped me shelve any lingering notions that Shakespeare didn't write the plays, but I'm always open to reading the theories as I find the whole discussion interesting.JaneGShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11094501834387622997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15714418.post-21086969044790104802009-06-20T17:45:39.324-06:002009-06-20T17:45:39.324-06:00Cool blog! It goes deep into Shakespeare's work and compares it to the life of Edward De Vere, or whom Anderson believes to be the real "Shakespeare." I challenge you to read it and not be totally convinced.Hagridhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11374079594389015920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15714418.post-84372787632791276232009-04-14T08:51:00.000-06:002009-04-14T08:51:00.000-06:00I ordered it a couple of days ago, so it'll be on ...I ordered it a couple of days ago, so it'll be on the stack by week's end :)JaneGShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11094501834387622997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15714418.post-80934256737678022502009-04-12T08:17:00.000-06:002009-04-12T08:17:00.000-06:00I've read Hornby's essays (although not that colle...I've read Hornby's essays (although not that collection) and liked them, but if they are not what you're expecting, I can see they would disappoint. I hope you get the chance to read 1599 and get some Shakespeare!Rebecca H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10825532162727473112noreply@blogger.com
